Day 1

Arrival at Florence airport.

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel.

Full day dedicated to the visit of Florence: Seigniory Square, the exquisite Loggia dei Lanzi and its sculptures. The magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, whose façade is decorated with marble, the bell tower, the Baptistery, with its famous Paradise gate. This is followed by Ponte Vecchio, the covered bridge. Then discover Oltrarno district, a neighbourhood packed with artisans workshops that give rise to unmatchable creativity, colour, quality and uniqueness. One of the most charming, passionate and multifaceted quarters of Florence: a place that fully exudes the city’s history, where every morning artisans create fine craftsmanship made according to ancient techniques. The Oltrarno is ‘an open-air museum’, represented by its myriad shops, streets, alleys and workshops. You will delight in discovering famous shops featuring silver chiselled works, made entirely by hand. You’ll also find places where artisans practice the ancient technique of engraving metal or continue to use fifteenth century gilding techniques to produce furniture and frames. This noteworthy journey will also lead you to workshops that create tailor-made shoes and leather, ceramics, inlaid wood and decorations.

Day 3

Enjoy a cooking class in Florence: bread, focaccia and pizza cooking class, followed by lunch.
The cooking class will take place in a warm and elegant cooking school in Florence city centre. The professional chef will teach the group how to prepare different baked recipes with fresh and seasonal products. The cooking class will last about 3 hours, and the lunch with dishes prepared during the course about an hour.

Day 4

Departure for a full day excursion with private tour guide to Siena and San Gimignano.
First stop in Siena, mysterious city situated on the summit of three hills. Its narrow, winding streets are part of its charm. The Cathedral (outside), with its splendid façade in multi-coloured marble; Piazza del Campo, heart of the city, with a unique shell-like shape, the Gaia Fountain, the Public Palace (outside), a masterpiece of gothic civil architecture, with the remarkable Mangia Tower. Lunch with typical dishes in Siena, Restaurant La Compagnia dei Vinattieri or similar.
Then move to San Gimignano, exceptional testimony of medieval urban construction. The nobles had typical "tower houses" built here, which were symbols of the wealth of the merchant class; at the time of its greatest splendour, the town had 72 towers marking its skyline. Here you will have the possibility to taste the wines produced in the surroundings in a typical farmhouse. Fattoria San Donato or similar.
Return to Florence and overnight.

Day 5

Departure to San Miniato area for a truffle hunting and tasting.
This tour will allow you to understand the true quality of truffle and the differences from the "false" chemical one which are usually on the market.
After the walking in the woods, lunch at restaurant with fresh truffle dishes.

Day 6

Full day excursion to Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino.
Thanks to this tour you will admire three small typical villages in Tuscany countryside: Montepulciano is known as "the pearl of the 16th Century", the centre of Tuscan Renaissance.
Every part of Montepulciano, is worth visiting. You can get glimpses of breathtaking views from many corners and little piazzas. Perhaps the most beautiful view is from Piazza San Francesco.
Pienza is a rare example of a Renaissance town, which still represents the search of realizing a perfect model of life, enjoying beautiful panoramas over looking the Orcia valley from the walking terrace. Pienza is world famous also for its "Pecorino" Cheese. You will have the possibility to learn how the cheese is produces and to taste it. Fattoria Pian Porcino or similar.
Then, move to Montalcino, a beautiful village immersed in the Val d'Orcia Natural Park, renowned all over the world for the production of its precious Brunello red wine. Montalcino is not just wine, it is also very rich in artistic treasures. The historical center is dominated by the mighty and imposing Rocca or fortress built in 1361 to mark the passage of Montalcino under the domination of Siena. Another landmark is the tall and slender clock tower, while below lies the main square known as Piazza del Popolo with its characteristic Gothic loggia. Enjoy a wine tasting in Montalcino.
